What are the symptoms of lack of sleep?

I've been working late a lot lately, and my sleep has been suffering. I feel so drained during the day. What are the obvious symptoms of lack of sleep that I should be aware of, beyond just feeling tired?

At my age, if I don't sleep for 7 hours, I walk around looking like a zombie and forgetting where I kept my spectacles. You will face brain fog, extreme irritability over small things, and a constant craving for sweet chai and biscuits to stay awake. It is a vicious cycle, honestly.

Hey, don't stress too much if you have had a few rough nights, but do take care of yourself. Lack of sleep shows up as heavy eyes, slow reflexes, and feeling anxious or down for no reason. Try to switch off your phone by 10 PM tonight, drink some warm milk, and give your mind a break.

I used to survive on 4 hours of sleep for years, ignoring the constant headaches, bad digestion, and micro-naps while driving. It eventually led to a massive burnout and high BP. Please do not ignore chronic sleep deprivation; go get a proper health checkup and fix your sleep hygiene before it ruins your health.

I recently went through a terrible phase of insomnia during a job change. My symptoms were dark circles, zero focus at work, constant acidity, and getting irritated at literally everything. What saved me was setting a strict screen-free time before bed and practicing a short breathing exercise.

Bro, during semester exams, sleep basically doesn't exist. The main symptoms are yawning every two seconds, red eyes, and zoning out completely mid-conversation. Honestly, my phone screen time is the biggest culprit, need to stop scrolling till 3 AM.
