What are the symptoms of gallbladder pain?

My wife has been complaining of sharp pain in her upper right abdomen after eating oily food. She thinks it might be her gallbladder. Can anyone tell me what the common symptoms of gallbladder pain are?

I totally get it, gallbladder pain can be absolutely unbearable and scary. It is a severe, squeezing pain in the upper right abdomen that often peaks after a heavy dinner and can make you sweat or feel like vomiting. Please don't suffer through it, get an ultrasound done to check for stones.

Gallbladder pain usually feels like a sharp, sudden ache in the upper right side of your stomach, sometimes spreading to your back or shoulder. It can make you feel very nauseous and uncomfortable, especially after eating oily food. I hope you feel better soon, please take care.

Gallbladder issues often trigger sharp pain under your right rib cage, especially after eating high-fat meals. While a clean diet with lots of fiber and regular workouts keeps your digestion smooth, once you have severe gallbladder pain, you need to see a doctor. Oily food is a major trigger, so keep your meals very light for now.

My dear, the body sometimes signals us to slow down and eat simple, pure food when it is in pain. Gallbladder discomfort often shows up as pain in the upper abdomen and back, accompanied by nausea. Stay positive, drink lots of warm water, and consult a doctor to find the right path to healing.

When I had gallbladder stones, the pain was a sudden, intense cramping on the right side under my ribs that would radiate to my right shoulder blade. It usually started about an hour after eating a heavy or greasy meal and lasted for hours. I didn't take any chances and went straight to a gastroenterologist.
