What are the symptoms of fatty liver disease?

My recent health check-up showed a slightly elevated liver function test, and the doctor casually mentioned fatty liver. I want to be aware, so what exactly are the symptoms of fatty liver disease? I've been feeling a bit tired lately.

With PCOS, fatty liver is a very common risk we have to watch out for. Honestly, in the early stages, there are almost no clear symptoms, maybe just some mild tiredness or a little discomfort in the upper right stomach. Because it's so silent, getting regular abdominal ultrasounds is much safer than waiting for major symptoms to show up.

I discovered my fatty liver during a routine annual checkup for my thyroid levels. Usually, you won't feel much except for occasional bloating or fatigue, which we often confuse with normal weakness. I highly recommend getting regular liver function tests (LFT) along with your routine doctor follow-ups.

For those of us managing high BP and metabolic issues, fatty liver is a common companion. You might just feel some fatigue or a slight fullness in your belly. The key is regular lipid profile and ultrasound checkups, along with managing your weight through a low-salt, low-fat diet.

I was diagnosed with Grade 2 fatty liver fifteen years ago when I used to feel a dull heaviness on my right side after heavy meals. Don't worry too much, as it is highly reversible if you catch it early. By cutting down on sugar, oily food, and walking for 45 minutes daily, my liver reports became completely normal.

I was researching this because my cousin was recently diagnosed. It seems most people have zero symptoms in Grade 1, but some might feel tired or have a mild dull ache in the upper right abdomen. It's crazy how a disease can be so quiet, making routine health checkups so important.
