What are the symptoms of bad kidney?

My father is diabetic and has been complaining of feeling constantly tired and swollen feet. Someone suggested it could be his kidneys. What are the common symptoms if your kidneys aren't working well?

If your kidneys are struggling, you might notice swollen ankles, puffiness around the eyes, and a sudden drop in your workout stamina. Hydration is key, but don't just gulp water if you see swelling. Get your kidney function checked and keep your diet clean under expert supervision.

When my relative had kidney issues, she faced extreme fatigue and swelling in her feet, which made our daily evening walks very difficult. Gentle movement is good for circulation, but only if your doctor permits. Make sure to get a proper urine and blood test done first.

Honestly, I read that bad kidney function can make your urine look super foamy and cause crazy fatigue even if you slept all night. If you or someone you know is feeling this, dont skip it. Better to get it checked out by a doc than ignoring it.

My husband had kidney trouble and he used to feel very nauseous, with a metallic taste in his mouth and swollen feet. It is a very stressful thing to go through. Please take care and visit a physician soon to get some peace of mind.

When my father was diagnosed with kidney dysfunction, the primary symptoms were high blood pressure and unexplained puffiness in the face. We went to a leading multi-specialty hospital and got clarity. I highly recommend asking your nephrologist directly about the GFR levels instead of searching online.

Having PCOS makes me extra cautious about fluid retention and metabolic health, so I know how worrying swelling can be. Foamy urine, persistent itching, and changes in urination frequency are common signs of kidney issues. Please consult a specialist for a proper diagnosis rather than guessing.

I am new here and a bit anxious about asking this. My father has been complaining of back pain near the ribs and has some swelling in his ankles. Does this usually mean a kidney problem, or could it just be normal muscle pain from old age?

Hey, if you are noticing things like fatigue or slightly swollen feet, don't stress too much right away, but definitely don't ignore it either. Just book a simple kidney function test (KFT) to be sure. Drop me a message if you need help finding a good clinic, okay?
