What are the symptoms of autoimmune hepatitis?

My sister's report came back saying she might have autoimmune hepatitis, but we don't really know much about it. She's been feeling very tired and having some stomach issues. What symptoms should we be aware of for this condition?

It usually shows up as extreme tiredness, dark urine, and yellowing of the skin. Please consult a doctor immediately for a proper blood test.

This is a serious condition where your immune system attacks your liver, leading to extreme fatigue, yellowish skin or eyes, and joint pain. Since it requires proper medical management, please don't rely on simple home remedies. Get your liver function tests done from a good lab and show them to a gastroenterologist.

I was checking up on liver health trends on my app, and autoimmune hepatitis symptoms can be quite tricky, like persistent fatigue, abdominal discomfort, and skin rashes. Because these are so general, tracking your daily symptoms and getting a specific antibody blood panel done by a specialist is crucial.

I have been feeling very weak lately and noticed some mild itching and loss of appetite. I am a bit scared to ask, but does autoimmune hepatitis show up suddenly in young people, or does it develop very slowly over years?

I was reading about autoimmune liver conditions yesterday out of curiosity. It's fascinating but scary how your own body attacks the liver, causing jaundice, joint pain, and nausea. Definitely not something to ignore; a proper doctor's visit is highly recommended.
