What are the symptoms of an inflamed liver?

My father recently had some blood tests, and the doctor mentioned something about his liver being inflamed. I'm trying to understand more about it – what are the symptoms of an inflamed liver?

For mild liver heat or swelling, drinking warm water with lemon or eating fresh amla helps clean the system. However, if you have severe vomiting, yellow skin, or extreme pain in the upper right side of your stomach, home remedies won't work. You must immediately go to a hospital for a proper checkup.

Beta, if your eyes are looking yellow and your stomach feels very heavy or swollen on the right side, your liver might be swollen. You will also feel very tired and lose your hunger. Please go to a good doctor nearby and get a blood test done.

I ignored a dull ache in my upper right abdomen and constant fatigue, which turned out to be severe liver inflammation that led to complications. Please don't ignore these signs, nor dark urine or pale stools. Go straight to a gastroenterologist for an LFT and ultrasound.

Liver inflammation can often be linked to fatty liver, which is common if you have high blood sugar. Symptoms include extreme tiredness, loss of appetite, and a heavy feeling in the abdomen. Along with consulting a doctor, make sure you strictly cut out refined sugars and oily foods to protect both your liver and pancreas.

I completely understand how stressful it is when you feel a dull ache in your side and start worrying about liver damage. I panicked so much when I had similar symptoms. Try to take a deep breath; getting a simple Liver Function Test (LFT) at a lab will give you clear answers and peace of mind.
