What are the symptoms of a tia stroke?

My brother's friend had an episode where he temporarily lost vision in one eye and felt weak, and the doctor said it was a 'TIA stroke'. I want to know more, what are the common symptoms of a TIA stroke?

Don't waste time researching symptoms online if you suspect a TIA. Sudden facial drooping, weakness in one arm, or slurred speech—even if it lasts for only 10 minutes—requires an immediate trip to the nearest emergency room. Act fast, as a TIA is a major warning for a full stroke.

A TIA can cause a brief loss of balance or sudden numbness in the hand. Keep your breathing calm and deep, but do not sit at home thinking it will pass permanently. Please go to a hospital immediately to ensure your blood flow is perfectly fine.

I was looking this up and learned that TIA stands for Transient Ischemic Attack. The symptoms are exactly like a normal stroke, like sudden blindness in one eye or trouble speaking, but they vanish within 24 hours. It's crazy because people think they are cured when they actually need urgent care.

I had a brief spell of slurred speech and numbness in my right leg last year, but I ignored it and went to sleep. Two days later, I suffered a full stroke that left my right side weak. Please learn from my mistake and get to a doctor immediately.

In our villages, people often say a sudden numbness is due to cold or wind, and they try massage. But a TIA is a serious brain warning. There is no home remedy for this; you must take the person to a doctor immediately for proper care.

My father had a sudden dizzy spell and couldn't hold his tea cup for a minute. We rushed him to the hospital and the doctor said it was a TIA! He is doing great now thanks to timely help. Always get it checked immediately! 😊

Haan na, sudden weakness in the hand or face dropping can be very scary. Even if it gets normal in fifteen minutes, we should not ignore it, ho na. Please visit a hospital immediately to be completely safe.

It is so scary when a loved one suddenly loses their balance or can't speak properly. My son had a similar neurological episode and I learned that speed is everything. Please take them to a specialist right away to get a proper MRI or CT scan done.

I have seen many families ignore a TIA because the patient feels perfectly fine after a few minutes. Common signs are sudden numbness, dizziness, or a dropping smile. Please don't treat it as a minor issue; go get a proper medical consult today.

If you suspect a TIA, go to a government hospital or a large charitable trust hospital where MRI and CT scans are done at highly subsidized rates. Getting these tests done quickly is vital, and planning your budget around emergency diagnostic costs is very important.

Look, if anyone near you has sudden numbness on one side of their body or starts speaking gibberish, do not wait for the next day. A TIA is a mini-stroke and a clear warning. Take them to the hospital right now, simple as that.

According to the neurologist we consulted, TIA symptoms include temporary hemiparesis, sudden aphasia, or amaurosis fugax (monocular vision loss). My doctor emphasized that even if these resolve in under an hour, the patient requires immediate antiplatelet therapy assessment to prevent a stroke.
