What are the symptoms of a hyperactive thyroid?

My sister has been losing a lot of weight even though she eats normally, and she's always feeling restless. The doctor suspects she might have a hyperactive thyroid. What are the common symptoms of this condition?

I lost almost 8 kgs in a month without trying, and my hands used to shake whenever I tried to hold a cup. My heart rate was always touching 100 even while sitting. Get your T3, T4, and TSH tested immediately; once the doctor starts the medication, you will feel much better.

My smartwatch actually helped me spot this because my resting heart rate suddenly shot up to 95 bpm. I was also sweating crazy during normal workouts and feeling overheated all the time. Check your fitness tracker data and show it to an endocrinologist for a proper evaluation.

Man, I was eating like a monster but still losing weight, which was weird because usually I gain easily. Also, I was constantly anxious and couldn't sleep at night at all. Turned out my thyroid was working in overdrive, so definitely go get a blood test done.

I just got my thyroid levels back to normal after six months of treatment. My main symptoms were sudden hair fall, crazy mood swings, and feeling exhausted but unable to sleep. Don't worry, once you start the right tablets prescribed by your doc, life gets back to normal.

A hyperactive thyroid can really mess with your blood pressure and heart rate. I had severe palpitations and thought my BP was just high, but the doctor did a thyroid panel and found the real cause. Regular checkups and keeping an eye on your salt and caffeine intake are very important.

Listen, don't get scared if you are feeling jittery or losing weight suddenly. It is a very common issue and highly manageable. Just book a quick blood test tomorrow morning and consult a good physician; everything is going to be perfectly fine.
