What are the signs and symptoms of heat stroke?

It's getting really hot here, especially in the afternoon. My grandmother keeps telling everyone to stay hydrated, but I'm worried about some of my cousins who work outside. What should we look out for if someone gets heat stroke?

I was actually reading about this yesterday. High body temperature, confusion, and red, dry skin are big red flags. If someone is slurring their words in the heat, it is a medical emergency, don't ignore it.

Bhaiya, garmi mein jab dhoop lag jati hai toh sharir ekdum garam ho jata hai par pasina aana band ho jata hai. Sir ghumne lagta hai aur ulti jaisa lagta hai. Aise mein turant thandhi jagah baithiye aur doctor babu ko dikhaye.

Yaar, my head spins even without heat stroke thanks to my 3 hours of sleep, but real heat stroke is scary. If someone is fainting, has a crazy fast pulse, and stops sweating in 42 degrees, stop searching online and rush them to an emergency room.

High fever, confusion, and throwing up after being in the sun are classic signs. Please take them to a doctor immediately.

Nature has its own ways of warning us when the body gets too hot. Heavy headache, rapid breathing, and feeling dizzy are signs to stop and rest. Keep your mind calm, drink water, and let a doctor check you if you feel very unwell.

Happened to me during Nagpur peak summer. I stopped sweating, my skin felt hot and dry, and I was so disoriented. Put wet towels all over the body to cool down fast and go to the nearest hospital clinic, it is not a normal dehydration issue.

My family doctor told me that a body temperature above 103 F along with rapid heartbeats and vomiting after sun exposure is definitely heat stroke. Don't try home remedies for this, just go straight to the hospital casualty ward.
