Apart from a missed period, heavy and sore breasts were my very first sign. I tried drinking warm ginger tea for the early morning nausea, which helped a bit, but honestly, nothing is surer than a simple home pregnancy kit test on your first morning urine.
In our days, we knew from the tiredness and the aversion to the smell of tempering mustard seeds in the kitchen. If you feel dizzy and very exhausted, take rest and drink some coconut water. But do the urine test after a week of missed date to confirm properly.
Actually, for me, it was this sudden, weird craving for spicy pickles and a total hatred for my favorite chicken biryani! The smell of food cooking would make me run to the washroom. If your taste buds are acting crazy and your period is late, go get a test kit.
Usually, a missed period, feeling very sleepy throughout the day, and frequent trips to the washroom are the earliest signs. Take care of yourself, eat light meals, and take a quick home test to be sure.
