What are the 3 injections for knee pain?

My knees are constantly aching, especially after doing ghar ka kaam. My neighbour got some injections for her knee pain, and it seems to have helped her. I want to know more about these options.

My father had severe knee pain, and his doctor suggested some injections. I remember one was a steroid shot for inflammation, and another was a hyaluronic acid injection to lubricate the joint. There was also something called PRP, but that was a bit newer. Don't self-medicate, please ask a specialist.

When my mother had knee issues, the orthopedic specialist at the hospital explained a few options. They usually discuss corticosteroid injections for quick relief from inflammation, hyaluronic acid for lubrication, and sometimes PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for regeneration. It's best to ask your doctor very clearly which one is suitable for your specific condition and what to expect.

Knee pain can be really debilitating and make you anxious about daily life, I totally get that. I've heard doctors use steroid injections for inflammation, hyaluronic acid for joint lubrication, and sometimes PRP. It's a big decision, so take your time, talk to your doctor about your concerns, and understand all your options before proceeding.

For knee pain, while modern medicine offers injections, I always advocate for gentle movement and strengthening exercises, perhaps light yoga and pranayama, if the body allows. As for injections, I've heard of cortisone shots for immediate relief, lubricating injections like hyaluronic acid, and also PRP. But these are medical procedures, so please discuss with a trusted doctor.
