What are some symptoms of hepatitis c?

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and I'm a bit concerned. We've shared some things in the past. What are the common symptoms of Hepatitis C that I should be aware of?

With high BP, I'm already cautious about regular checkups. Hepatitis C is tricky because many people don't have symptoms for years. But if they do appear, they can include fatigue, nausea, dark urine, or jaundice (yellowing skin/eyes). If you have any risk factors, get screened during your regular checkup.

Hello, my dear. Hepatitis C can be a silent disease, they say. Many people don't feel sick for a long time. But if you do feel tired always, or have pain in your tummy, or your skin looks a bit yellow, please go see the doctor. It is good to know early.

My friend's uncle had Hepatitis C, and honestly, he didn't even know for years. It was only when he started feeling super tired and had some tummy pain that he went to the doctor. The doc said it's often silent. So, if you're ever worried or have a history, it's better to just get tested.

At a good hospital, the doctors emphasize that Hepatitis C often shows no symptoms for a long time, leading to late diagnosis. When symptoms do appear, they can be non-specific like fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine, or jaundice. If you've had blood transfusions before 1992, shared needles, or have other risk factors, you must ask your doctor for an HCV antibody test.
