What are normal blood glucose levels for pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and doing my best to stay healthy. Can anyone tell me what are considered normal blood glucose levels during pregnancy? My doctor hasn't given me exact numbers yet.

Fasting should be below 95, yaar. Actually, when my sister was pregnant, her doctor was very strict about keeping the 2-hour post-meal sugar below 120. Don't stress too much but definitely keep an eye on it because pregnancy hormones do crazy things to your body.

For fasting, it should ideally be under 95 mg/dL, and after meals it should stay below 120-140. I highly recommend buying a basic home glucometer from a local chemist to save on daily lab test costs. Those lab visits add up so fast during these nine months, so self-testing at home is a real lifesaver for the budget.

Usually, the target is fasting under 95 mg/dL and 1-hour post-meal under 140 mg/dL. I log all my family's parameters on my health tracker app to see the weekly trends. Tracking it digitally really helps you show clean data to your gynecologist during your routine checkups.

My bhabhi had to check this daily during her pregnancy. I remember her doctor saying fasting needs to be strictly under 95. Pregnancy is already so hectic, so hope you are doing okay and taking proper rest!

My mother-in-law kept telling me to eat traditional sweets for strength, but I strictly followed my doctor's chart. During my time, they wanted my fasting glucose below 95 and post-lunch below 120. Please get a proper OGTT test done at the hospital to be absolutely sure of your levels.
