Is your baby crying go to sleep meme?

My baby has been crying a lot lately and not sleeping well. I saw a meme about 'is your baby crying, go to sleep'. I'm just curious if there's any actual advice behind that, or if it's just a joke for tired parents.

Oh my god, when my first one was born, I used to panic at every little sound! Then my older cousin told me about this. Sometimes they just need to vent a little before settling down. It’s totally normal, don't worry too much unless it's an abnormal cry.

Be very careful with this. My baby had reflux and would cry a lot before sleeping, which we initially thought was just fussiness. It turned out to be discomfort. If you have any doubt at all, especially if it's persistent, please speak to your pediatrician. Better safe than sorry.

Haan, it's a thing! I saw it on reels and thought it was just a joke, but then my niece's mom said sometimes babies do 'fuss it out' a bit before finally falling asleep. Obviously, if they're really distressed, that's different, but a little grumble is often okay.

Is this actually true? I always thought any crying meant the baby needs something. My sister is expecting and she's already so stressed about sleep. Should I tell her this or will it make her feel guilty for not picking up the baby? Does it work for everyone?

Haha, I know exactly what meme you're talking about! 😂 Sometimes it feels like they just need to get it all out before they can finally crash. Of course, rule out hunger or diaper first, but a bit of a grumble session can totally lead to sleepy time. Good luck! 😴
