Is white bread good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I usually have white bread for my sandwiches. My friend told me I should completely cut it out. Is white bread really that bad for weight loss, or can it be part of a balanced diet?

White bread has refined flour and simple sugars which digest too fast and make you hungry again quickly. For both diabetes and weight loss, it is highly recommended to avoid it.

No way! 🙅‍♀️ White bread is full of maida which is not great for weight loss. Try swapping it with whole wheat or multigrain bread instead! 🍞

White bread has very little nutritional value and won't help you lose weight. If you want to drop kilos, stick to high-fiber Indian foods like oats, daliya, or whole wheat rotis.

I am just starting my fitness journey and I was wondering, is brown bread actually better than white bread for weight loss? White bread is so easy to find near my house.

I developed severe metabolic issues by eating processed foods like white bread every day. Please consult a qualified nutritionist to get a proper diet chart for your weight loss journey.

If you are struggling with weight, it is always safer to get your thyroid and sugar levels checked first. But generally, white bread is not considered helpful for weight loss.

I track all my calories on MyFitnessPal, and white bread is mostly empty carbs. It doesn't keep you full for long, which makes you eat more later. Skip it if you want to stay in a calorie deficit.
