Is vomiting in pregnancy a good sign?

I'm in my first trimester, and I've been having really bad morning sickness. My aunt told me that if you're vomiting a lot during pregnancy, it's actually a good sign that the baby is healthy. Is there any truth to this?

Many doctors say that some morning sickness indicates healthy, rising pregnancy hormone levels. But don't worry if you don't have it—plenty of women have healthy pregnancies without any vomiting at all.

Look, people say it shows the pregnancy is strong, but honestly, vomiting too much is just bad for your health. If you are throwing up everything, go to your doctor instead of celebrating it as a 'good sign'.

My wife throwing up at 3 AM definitely didn't feel like a good sign to our sleep schedule! But yes, doctors told us it means the hormones are active. Just buy a lot of garbage bags and keep water handy.

My wife just got through her first trimester, and her doctor reassured us that nausea is actually a sign of a strong placenta. But please track her water intake, because dehydration can happen very fast.

Ho na, elders always say that morning sickness means the baby is growing well. But it is very tiring, so make sure you eat small meals and keep sipping coconut water.

Hormonally, it can indicate a viable pregnancy, but physically it can drain you. Try to keep doing very light, gentle walks if your doctor allows, as it can sometimes help with digestion and mood during these tough weeks.
