Is vitamin'd good for arthritis?

My knees have been hurting a lot lately, probably arthritis acting up due to the weather. My neighbour suggested taking Vitamin D supplements, saying it helps with joint pain. Does vitamin D really help with arthritis?

Haan na, Vitamin D is very important for bone strength, especially if you have joint pain. My mother has arthritis and her doctor specifically asked us to keep her Vitamin D levels high. It really helps reduce the stiffness, do get it checked once.

Vitamin D is definitely good, but please don't just start taking expensive daily capsules. Get a simple blood test first, which costs around 500 rupees, to see your actual deficiency level. Then your doctor can prescribe a budget-friendly weekly dose of 60k IU if required.

Yes, Vitamin D is crucial because it helps your body absorb calcium, which protects your joints. In our clinic, we see many arthritis patients with severe Vitamin D deficiency. Just make sure to consult your doctor for the right weekly dosage instead of self-medicating.

Unless you want your bones to scream every time you sit down, yes, Vitamin D is very good! It keeps your joints lubricated and bones strong. Think of it as WD-40 spray for your creaking rusty joints, but do get a doctor to write down the right dose!

Sitting in the gentle morning sun for 15 minutes is a wonderful way to receive natural Vitamin D for your joints. It brings warmth and healing to painful knees. Keep a positive mind, do light stretching daily, and trust the doctor's medicine to help you heal.

I was just reading an article about this yesterday because my dadi has knee pain. Apparently, Vitamin D plays a big role in reducing joint inflammation and strengthening the bone structure around the joints. Getting some morning sunlight is also a great natural way to help.
