Is tylenol better than ibuprofen for fever?

My daughter has a high fever, and I'm not sure which medicine to give her. Is Tylenol generally considered better than Ibuprofen for reducing fever in children, or does it depend on the situation?

I just had a bad fever last month, and my doc recommended Tylenol (paracetamol) first. He said ibuprofen is good too but can be a bit harder on the stomach for some people. Both work though.

Honestly, both are quite common and budget-friendly. Tylenol is paracetamol, and ibuprofen is another type. For fever, Tylenol is often suggested first because it's usually gentler. No need for expensive tests unless the fever is not going down.

Hello beta. Both medicines are for fever, haan. But in our village, the doctor usually says paracetamol first, which is Tylenol. It helps bring the heat down. Always keep a cool head and drink warm water.

Dude, my mom always gives me Tylenol for fever, never ibuprofen. I think Tylenol is like the standard for fever, you know? Less side effects maybe? Idk, just what I've seen.

Tylenol is generally considered safer for fever, especially if you have stomach issues. My doctor also prefers it.

It's like choosing between butter chicken and paneer butter masala, both good but for different moods! For fever, Tylenol is often the first choice because it's simpler. Ibuprofen is good too, but sometimes it makes my tummy upset. So, Tylenol wins for fever for me, less drama!

I think it depends on the person and what else is going on. My doc said Tylenol for fever is usually fine, but if I had body aches too, sometimes ibuprofen helps more with that. Better to ask your own doctor if you're confused.

For post-workout aches, sometimes ibuprofen is better for the inflammation. But for just plain fever, Tylenol is usually what I take. Hydration and rest are key too, don't forget that!

For fever management, paracetamol (Tylenol) is generally the go-to. Ibuprofen also reduces fever but is also an anti-inflammatory, so it's sometimes used for pain with swelling. For just fever, Tylenol is practical and commonly available.

My family always uses Tylenol for fever, that's what we have at home. We don't usually keep ibuprofen for fever specifically, only if there's pain along with it. Just sharing what works for us, you know.
