Is there treatment for malaria?

My younger brother has come down with a fever and body ache, and the doctor thinks it could be malaria, especially with the season right now. I was wondering if there's a good treatment for malaria available that works quickly?

Yes, malaria is completely curable with simple antimalarial pills. Before starting any medicines, get a rapid malaria blood test done which costs around 200-300 rupees at any local lab. It is better to confirm the diagnosis first rather than wasting money on wrong medicines.

I am experiencing high fever with shivering since yesterday. Is malaria treatment safe to take at home, or do we have to get admitted to a hospital? I am a bit scared of hospital stays.

Malaria has very standard and effective treatment available, so don't worry. Just make sure to get your blood pressure and vitals monitored if you have any pre-existing conditions like me. Take complete bed rest and drink plenty of fluids.

Bro, malaria is easily treatable, don't worry at all. I got it last semester during exams and a 3-day course of pills sorted me out. Just drink coconut water and take your meds on time.

Please get tested immediately. I once ignored my fever thinking it was just a normal cold and my platelet count dropped drastically, which became very dangerous. Go to a clinic and get a proper blood test done today.
