Is there any birth control that doesn't cause weight gain?

I'm looking for a birth control method, but I'm really worried about gaining weight. My friend put on so much when she started hers. Is there any birth control option out there that won't make me gain weight?

Honestly, at this age, even looking at a piece of bread makes me gain weight, so blaming pills feels natural! But jokes apart, different pills react differently with your body. Some of my friends had zero weight issues with low-dose pills while others gained, so it is pure luck and your doctor's choice.

Please be very careful before starting any hormonal birth control. I took some pills randomly after reading online and had terrible water retention and blood pressure spikes. You really need a proper gynecologist to check your blood reports first and suggest the safest option for your body type.

I completely understand how frustrating this is. I used to cry looking at the scale when I was on the pill and felt like I had no control over my own body. Just know that your mental peace matters the most, and it is totally okay to stop and ask your doc for non-hormonal alternatives.

In our times, we didn't have so many advanced options, but today medical science has improved so much. You kids shouldn't worry unnecessarily about these things. Talk to a kind doctor, explain your worries about weight, and they will easily find a modern solution that suits your health.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. Many modern copper IUDS are completely non-hormonal, which means they won't affect your weight at all. Just talk to a good gynaecologist, they will guide you through all options and help you choose the best one without any pressure.

Most of the initial weight gain people see with birth control is just temporary water retention, not actual fat. If you keep your daily steps high, focus on clean eating, and do some strength training, you can easily manage it. Don't let the fear of weight gain stop you from taking care of your health.

Haan na, weight gain ka darr toh sabko hota hai issue mein. Actually my doctor told me that modern low-dose pills don't cause much issue, but still if you are too worried, then Copper T is best. Ek baar doctor se acche se discuss kar lo na, tension free ho jaoge.

Same here, I was so scared of this. Copper T is non-hormonal and doesn't cause any weight gain, you can ask your doc about it.

Look, everyone's body chemistry is different. There are plenty of low-dose hormonal pills and non-hormonal options like Copper-T available in the market today that don't cause weight fluctuations. Just book an appointment with a premium clinic, get your hormone levels checked, and make an informed decision.

I ignored the sudden swelling and weight gain from my pills thinking it was just a normal side effect, but it turned out to be a severe hormonal imbalance that took me years to fix. Please do not self-prescribe or ignore what your body is saying. Go get a proper consultation and blood tests done first.
