Is tea tree oil good for hair loss?

My hair has been thinning a lot recently, and it's starting to worry me. I saw some articles online suggesting tea tree oil for hair loss. Can it really help, or is it just a myth?

My son had some hair thinning, and we tried a lot of things. Our paediatrician actually suggested a very diluted tea tree oil shampoo, saying it helps keep the scalp healthy, which can support hair growth. But it wasn't a magic fix, more like a supportive measure. Regular oiling and good diet also helped.

Hair loss can be complex. While tea tree oil is known for scalp health, it's not a direct cure for balding. If you're short on time, don't waste it on remedies that might not work. See a dermatologist, they can identify the cause (stress, deficiency, hormones) and suggest targeted treatments. Efficient is best.

Hair loss often points to internal issues, like my thyroid problems cause hair fall. Simply putting tea tree oil might not solve the underlying cause. Please get your basic blood tests done and see a doctor to rule out deficiencies or hormonal imbalances. Superficial treatments only go so far.

Hey, hair loss can be really disheartening, I understand. Tea tree oil can definitely help keep your scalp clean and healthy, which is a good foundation. But for actual hair regrowth or stopping significant loss, it's better to consult a doctor, okay? Don't stress too much, we'll find a solution.

I totally get how upsetting hair loss can be, it affects your confidence so much. Tea tree oil has good antifungal properties which can improve scalp health, and a healthy scalp is important for hair. But it's not a direct hair growth stimulant. If it's a lot of hair loss, a derm is your best bet.
