Is spicy food good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I've heard some people say that eating spicy food can boost your metabolism. Is there any truth to this? Can spicy food really help with weight loss?

I tried eating spicy green chilies thinking it would boost my metabolism, but it just gave me severe stomach ache. Did anyone else face bad acidity issues when trying to eat spicy for weight loss?

I remember searching for every shortcut like 'spicy food for weight loss' because I was so desperate to lose weight. It's tough when you are struggling, but honestly, there are no magic foods. It's all about overall balance.

Capsaicin in spicy food is supposed to boost metabolism, but I worry it might cause stomach ulcers if we eat too much. Maybe try very small amounts first to see how your stomach reacts? Don't force yourself if it burns.

Bro, eating extra spicy food just makes me drink four glasses of water and feel bloated. It doesn't really burn fat. Better to just hit the gym or run in the evenings.

I totally get it, when we are trying to lose weight we want to try everything that can help. But please don't burn your stomach with extremely spicy food. Focus on portion control and you will definitely see results.

My grandmother always says spicy rasam is good for digestion. But my doctor explained that while spices can slightly increase metabolic rate temporarily, it's not enough to cause any real weight loss. Proper diet is key.

Please be cautious. I ended up with severe gastritis and a trip to the clinic because I overdid spicy food for fat loss. If you already have acidity or ulcer issues, please consult a doctor before changing your diet.

I understand the anxiety of wanting to find quick ways to lose weight, I've been there. Spicy food has a very minimal effect on fat burn. Please don't stress your digestive tract over this; consistency with normal food is enough.

Don't spend money on expensive spicy fat burner supplements. Simple, home-cooked food with regular home spices like ginger and black pepper is extremely cheap and very effective for healthy digestion.

If you are eating spicy food, be careful that you aren't consuming more oil and salt along with it. In my experience with managing sugar and weight, plain boiled or roasted foods with mild spices work much better.
