Plain soda water is fine because it doesn't have sugar, but too much fizz can cause gas. I usually prefer drinking lukewarm copper-vessel water or fenugreek (methi) water in the morning. It keeps the stomach cool and is very good for managing sugar levels naturally.

I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes recently and I am terrified of eating or drinking the wrong thing. Is plain club soda really safe? I would love to know if anyone else drinks it without experiencing any sudden spikes.

I used to panic every time my wife bought soda water, thinking it would harm my diabetes. But after checking my readings multiple times, I realized plain unsweetened soda has absolutely zero effect on sugar. You can relax and enjoy it occasionally.

Technically, plain soda water has zero glycemic index, so it won't spike your levels. I track my food logs daily, and plain sparkling water is my go-to mocktail base. Just check the app or label to ensure there are no added carbs.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Plain soda water is completely fine since it has no sugar or calories. Just squeeze some fresh lime in it and enjoy your drink without any guilt.

Bhaiya, bina cheeni wala sada soda peene se sugar nahi badhta hai. Bas dukan wale se pooch lena ki usme koi meetha chemical toh nahi milaya hai. Normal ghade ka pani sabse badiya hota hai fir bhi.

In my 20 years of managing diabetes, I have learned that simple things are best. Plain soda water is safe enough because it has no sweet content, but don't let it replace pure drinking water. Regular habits and simple home-cooked food are what keep us healthy in the long run.
