Is smoking ok during pregnancy?

My cousin is pregnant and still smokes sometimes, saying it's just 'a little bit'. I'm really concerned for her and the baby. Is smoking okay during pregnancy at all?

As a mother, I can tell you that everything we consume goes directly to the baby. Smoking restricts the baby's oxygen supply and can cause low birth weight or premature birth, which is very hard to deal with. Please stop smoking immediately for the safety and healthy development of your child.

My wife was a casual smoker and panicked when she found out she was pregnant because she had smoked in the first few weeks. The doctor reassured us that stopping immediately prevents further risk, and our baby was born perfectly healthy. If you stop now, your baby will be absolutely fine, so don't lose heart.

Smoking is highly toxic, especially when you are growing a life inside you, as it damages blood vessels and limits oxygen. Try replacing the urge to smoke with deep breathing exercises or a gentle daily walk if your doctor permits. It will help manage your stress naturally and keep the baby safe.

Bilkul nahi yaar, pregnancy mein smoking toh bilkul bhi ok nahi hai na. Iska seedha asar bache ke fefdo aur dimaag par padta hai. Agar chhodne mein mushkil ho rahi hai toh turant apne gynecologist se baat karo, woh help karenge.

Honestly, smoking is a big no during pregnancy, but you can definitely distract yourself with yummy cravings! Whenever you feel the urge to smoke, try snacking on some fresh fruits, dry fruits, or some light treats. It's much better for your taste buds and the baby's health.

Medical research on all health trackers and apps shows that nicotine and carbon monoxide are extremely harmful to fetal growth. Even secondhand smoke is risky, so it's best to stay in a completely smoke-free environment. Please consult your doctor for safe ways to quit smoking during your pregnancy.

I struggled with quitting smoking for years but had to do it cold turkey when my wife got pregnant because passive smoke is also dangerous. It was tough for the first two weeks, but seeing our healthy baby made every single craving worth it. You can do this, please quit for your baby.
