Is sickness a good sign in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child and have been feeling quite sick and nauseous, especially in the mornings. My mother-in-law says it's a good sign because it means the baby is growing well. Is sickness really a good sign in pregnancy?

I totally panicked when I had morning sickness with my first, thinking something was wrong. But then my gynaecologist reassured me it's often a sign that hormones are doing their job, indicating a healthy, progressing pregnancy. It's tough, but usually a good sign!

Yes, many doctors say it's often a positive sign, indicating rising pregnancy hormones are supporting the baby's development. It's rough, but you can feel a little relief knowing it's usually a good indicator. Just try to eat small, frequent meals.

Yes, sickness is quite common in early pregnancy and often considered a sign of healthy hormone levels. However, if it's extreme, it could point to hyperemesis gravidarum. Always discuss severe symptoms with your doctor, especially if you have other health concerns like thyroid issues.

While morning sickness is generally considered a good sign, it's also important to focus on nutrient-dense, easily digestible foods, even if you feel nauseous. Small, frequent vegetarian meals often help. Discuss any persistent issues with your doctor.

Many believe that it is a sign that the life within is thriving. Just take care of yourself, eat light, and keep your spirits positive. These are all part of the journey, and with God's grace, all will be well.

While sickness is common, for those managing conditions like diabetes, it's important to monitor how it affects your blood sugar and hydration. Your doctor will advise on managing it without compromising your health. It might be a good sign, but medical advice is key.

Good sign? More like a very tiring sign, haha! My wife had it bad, and while the doctor said it's normal, seeing her struggle was tough. So yeah, 'good' in a medical sense, but definitely not fun. Get plenty of rest, that's my only advice.

It's totally understandable to feel anxious about any symptom during pregnancy, even sickness. But yes, many experts say morning sickness is a good indicator of rising hormones and a healthy pregnancy. Just try to manage it and talk to your doctor if it's too much to handle.

My pregnancy tracking app actually has a section on this. It says morning sickness (nausea and vomiting) is very common and often associated with a lower risk of miscarriage. So, in that sense, it can be a good sign. Stay hydrated!

Oh, is it? I always thought morning sickness was just a bad part of pregnancy. So it actually means things are going well? That's kinda interesting, turns a negative into a positive, no?
