Is protein powder good for weight gain?

I'm quite skinny and trying to gain some healthy weight and muscle mass. My friends at the gym recommended protein powder. Is protein powder actually good for weight gain, and how does it work?

Honestly, protein powders are getting so expensive these days, and buying them every month can really mess up your budget. Before spending thousands on supplements, I suggest planning a simple diet with peanut butter, bananas, and oats. It is much cheaper and highly effective for gaining weight naturally.

I used to look like a single bamboo stick, and people suggested all kinds of weird powders to me! Protein powder does help, but only if you actually eat meals along with it, otherwise you're just drinking expensive water. Don't worry, keep eating and you will get there!

I am also trying to gain a few kilos because I feel very weak, and I keep seeing ads for these protein powders. I am actually quite confused if they are safe for girls or if they have side effects like acne. I'm still reading up on it before deciding to buy anything.

You don't need to overcomplicate things with fancy mass gainers which are mostly sugar anyway. Just add a scoop of normal whey protein to a big glass of full-cream milk with a banana and some nuts. It is a simple, healthy recipe that you can easily make every single day without any hassle.

As a vegetarian, it can be very hard to get enough daily protein for weight gain without eating too many carbs. A clean organic plant-protein powder can be a great addition to your diet. Just make sure to read the labels carefully to avoid any synthetic additives or fillers.

If you are struggling to gain weight despite eating well, please get your thyroid and complete blood count checked first. Sometimes there is an underlying issue that protein powder cannot fix. Always make sure your organs are fully healthy before adding extra protein load.

In my youth, we didn't have these packaged powders, we relied strictly on pure milk, ghee, and almonds to build our body weight. However, I see my grandson using these protein supplements now under proper guidance, and he looks healthy. Just ensure you don't lose touch with traditional home-cooked meals.
