Is passing wind a sign of pregnancy?

I've been feeling a lot more bloated and gassy than usual for the past week. I'm wondering if this could mean anything. Is passing wind often a sign of early pregnancy?

Dekho, passing wind is normal for everyone. For pregnancy, haan, some women do get more gassy because of hormones. But don't just rely on that. Check for other signs like missed period. Gas alone doesn't mean pregnancy.

My girlfriend asked her doc about this when she was trying. Doc said hormonal changes can cause more gas in early pregnancy, but it's not a reliable sign on its own. Could just be what you ate. Best to look for other signs like a missed period.

From a holistic view, any change in bodily functions, including increased vayu (gas), reflects internal shifts. In early pregnancy, hormonal changes can indeed affect digestion, leading to more gas. However, it is one among many subtle signals, not a primary indicator. Observe other signs and seek confirmation.

Oh, I totally panicked about every little change during my suspected pregnancy, and increased gas was one of them! It *can* be a symptom because hormones make you bloated. But it's also so common otherwise. Don't stress too much over one symptom; look for a combination and get a test done to be sure.

It can be for some! 💨 Hormones during early pregnancy can really slow down your digestion, leading to more bloating and gas. But it's also super common for other reasons, so don't take it as the only sign! 😉

Passing wind is a sign of being alive, mostly! Jokes aside, yes, sometimes it can be an early pregnancy symptom because hormones make your digestion a bit sluggish. But it's not a reliable sign alone. If it were, I'd be pregnant every other day after eating daal chawal!
