Is ozempic hard on the liver?

My doctor is considering putting me on Ozempic for my sugar, but my brother warned me that some medicines can be tough on the liver. Just wanted to check if Ozempic is known to be hard on the liver.

Hey! I've heard this too. My friend was looking into it for weight loss and her doctor mentioned they'd monitor her liver enzymes closely. Always best to discuss your full medical history with your doctor before starting any new medication, haan.

Hmm, liver ka toh dhyaan rakhna padta hai na. Any medicine can have side effects. My aunt takes something similar and her doc always checks her liver function tests regularly. So, just make sure you're getting proper check-ups, ho na.

Honestly, any medicine can put a strain on the body. For liver health, I always tell people to focus on diet and maybe some Ayurvedic tonics. But for something like Ozempic, it's a strong medicine, so you really must follow your doctor's advice carefully and monitor your health.

For liver, diet and exercise are key, man. Avoid processed foods, limit alcohol, and keep active. If you're on medication, doctors usually prescribe LFTs (liver function tests) to keep an eye on things. That's part of the process.

It's natural to worry about side effects. Just make sure to talk openly with your doctor about all your concerns. They will guide you best on what to watch out for.
