Is ozempic for type 2 diabetes?

My doctor recently mentioned a new medicine called Ozempic for my sugar problem. I'm already taking a few pills, so I wanted to ask, is this specifically for type 2 diabetes? Just want to be sure before discussing it more with him.

Yes, it is specifically meant for type 2 diabetes. I was so scared when my doctor prescribed it, but it has really helped bring my HbA1c down. Don't worry, it is a standard and very effective medicine.

From what I have been reading on medical portals, yes, it is FDA-approved specifically to treat adults with type 2 diabetes. It helps the pancreas release more insulin when sugar levels are high.

Yes, it is for type 2 diabetes, but please make sure you discuss all potential side effects with your doctor first. I always get super anxious about new medicines, so getting clear answers from a professional really helps ease the mind.
