Is lower backache a sign of pregnancy?

My period is delayed by almost a week now, and I've been having this new lower backache that isn't typical for me before my periods. My mother-in-law asked if I might be expecting. Could this backache actually be a sign that I'm pregnant?

Honestly, it was one of my main early symptoms before my period was even due. My back felt incredibly tight and achy. If you've missed your date, a simple home test will give you the real answer!

Look, backache can happen simply because you sat wrongly or lifted something heavy. Don't jump to conclusions and start stressing yourself. Buy a UPT kit from the local chemist and do a test to be absolutely sure.

My older cousin was just talking about this last week, she had crazy back pain before finding out she was pregnant. So yeah, I guess it is a pretty common sign. Better to check with a test kit.

It can be a sign due to early hormonal shifts. Make sure you are maintaining a calcium-rich diet with curd and paneer to support your bones right now. Definitely take a doctor's advice and do a proper test.

I remember panicking so much when my back started aching, thinking my period was starting or something was wrong. But it turned out to be early pregnancy! It's very common, so try to stay calm and take a test.

Yes, it can be an early sign, but please get a proper blood test done. If you do test positive, make sure to get your thyroid levels checked too, as hormone fluctuations can also cause body aches and are crucial to monitor early on.
