Is liver damage from diabetes reversible?

My husband has diabetes, and his doctor recently mentioned some liver damage. We're wondering if liver damage from diabetes is reversible with proper management, or if it's usually permanent. We're hoping for good news.

Don't lose hope. If the damage is in the early fatty liver stage, you can absolutely reverse it by managing your blood sugar and eating clean. Just take it one step at a time, we can manage this together.

Early-stage fatty liver from diabetes is reversible, but advanced scarring is not. Save your time and focus strictly on keeping your HbA1c levels under control and reducing weight. Consistency in diet is what actually works.

I totally understand how terrifying it feels when you hear about liver damage. I used to lose sleep over my reports too, but my doctor assured me that early liver changes can improve immensely once sugars are stabilized. Take a deep breath, you can manage this.

I was diagnosed with diabetic fatty liver last year. I cut down carbs completely, walked 45 minutes daily, and my recent ultrasound showed my liver is back to normal! It is definitely doable if you act fast.

Aap chinta mat kijiye, cheeni thodi kam khaiye aur thoda chalna firna rakhiye. Humare padosi ne bhi parhez karke apna liver bilkul theek kar liya tha, sab accha hoga.

In my husband's case, keeping his daily sugar levels strictly under control helped reduce his liver swelling significantly. I cannot speak for everyone, but managing diabetes seems to play a huge role in liver recovery.
