Is liposuction for weight loss or body contouring?

I had liposuction on my love handles six months ago. It is definitely for body contouring and shaping, not for overall weight loss. My weight on the machine barely changed, but my clothes fit so much better now. You still have to maintain a good diet after.

I have tried every diet and home remedy under the sun to lose weight. From what I have learned, liposuction is just to shape specific areas where fat won't budge. If you want to lose overall weight, a healthy diet and lifestyle change is the only natural way.
