Is keratin treatment good for hair loss?

My hair has been thinning a lot recently, and it's making me quite self-conscious. A friend suggested I try a keratin treatment. Is keratin treatment good for hair loss, or will it make it worse?

Keratin treatment is more for smoothing and straightening hair, not really for hair loss. For hair loss, you need to look at diet, stress, and overall health. Maybe some scalp massages. Just like for fitness, there's no shortcut. Focus on natural health first, and if doctor suggests, then treatments.

Keratin treatments are quite expensive, and they focus on hair structure, not scalp health or root strength. For hair loss, it's better to invest in a dermatologist consultation to understand the root cause. This might involve blood tests and targeted treatments, which is a more practical use of your money.

Keratin treatment is generally for making hair smoother and shinier. It doesn't directly stop hair loss. For that, you need to check with a specialist. Don't worry, there are many solutions out there.

My grandmother always said to use coconut oil for hair. But keratin treatment is different, it's for texture, not for hair fall. For hair loss, better to see a dermatologist. They will tell you the real reason and what to do. Always listen to the doctor for such things.

Keratin treatments are primarily cosmetic, designed to reduce frizz and add shine by coating the hair shaft. They do not address the underlying causes of hair loss, such as nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, or genetic factors. For genuine hair loss concerns, it is crucial to consult a dermatologist or trichologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.

That's an interesting thought! I was also wondering if these fancy treatments actually help with hair fall or are just for aesthetics. Seems like the consensus is it's more for looks. So, good to know we need to dig deeper for actual hair loss solutions.

Every part of our body reflects our inner health and peace. Keratin treatment is for outward beauty. For hair loss, look within – reduce stress, eat pure food, keep your mind calm. Consult a doctor for medical advice. Stay positive, and the body will respond.

Keratin treatments are primarily for hair texture. For hair loss, especially if you have underlying conditions like thyroid imbalance, it's absolutely crucial to consult an endocrinologist and a dermatologist. Hair loss is a common symptom of thyroid issues, so regular blood tests and appropriate medication are far more effective than cosmetic treatments.

I used to panic about hair loss, thinking every treatment was a miracle cure. Keratin is for making hair look good, not for fixing hair loss. For hair loss, you really need to address the internal issues. Once I found out my vitamin levels were low and fixed that, my hair fall reduced a lot. Don't fall for cosmetic fixes for a medical problem.

My dermatologist explicitly told me that keratin treatments, while making hair smooth, don't help with hair loss. In fact, sometimes the heat and chemicals involved can even worsen existing hair fall for some people. For hair loss, she recommended checking vitamin D, iron, and thyroid levels, and prescribed specific topical solutions based on my diagnosis.

Hey! I actually looked into this when I was having hair fall. Keratin treatment basically helps make your hair look good, like smooth and frizz-free. But it doesn't solve the problem of hair falling out from the root. For that, you need to figure out why it's happening, so a doctor visit is a must!

Haan, keratin treatment se baal smooth ho jaate hain. Lekin hair loss ke liye toh nahi hai yeh. Mere cousin ne karwaya tha, uske baal toh smooth ho gaye par girna band nahi hue. Hair fall ke liye toh doc se milo, wohhi sahi advice denge, na?
