Is it safe to sleep with a space heater on?

It gets really cold in my room during winter, and I usually turn on a space heater at night. My wife is concerned it might be dangerous. Is it safe to sleep with a space heater on throughout the night, or should I turn it off before sleeping?

Aiyo, ho na, space heater on rakh ke sona is not very good. It makes the air very dry and can cause breathing problems for some. Plus, fire risk bhi hota hai na. Better to just use it to warm up the room before sleeping, then turn it off.

Just last winter, I slept with a space heater on and woke up with the worst dry throat and headache! It really drains the air of moisture. Plus, fire hazard is a real concern, yaar. Definitely not safe for the whole night.

For general well-being and clear breathing, sleeping with a space heater on is a no-go. It dries out the air, which isn't good for your respiratory system. Maybe try to keep yourself warm naturally with layers or a warm drink before bed.

I understand wanting warmth, especially in cold areas! But sleeping with a space heater on is generally not advised. It can really dry out your nasal passages and skin, and there's always a risk of fire or carbon monoxide poisoning if it's an older model or poorly ventilated. Maybe invest in a good humidifier instead, and extra blankets.
