Is it safe to sleep on your belly while pregnant?

I'm finding it really hard to get comfortable in bed these days. Before pregnancy, I always slept on my stomach. Now that my bump is growing, I'm worried if it's safe to sleep on my belly while pregnant or if it could hurt the baby.

Hey bestie! Don't stress too much about it. In the very early months, before your bump is big, it's generally fine. But as you grow, it'll become uncomfortable and not really recommended. You won't even be able to! Just try to slowly switch to side sleeping, maybe with some comfy pillows. 😊

Direct answer: No, not once your belly grows significantly. In the first trimester, it's generally okay since the uterus is still low. But after that, it puts pressure on your growing uterus and major blood vessels. Switch to side sleeping, preferably left, for optimal blood flow.

Haan, early pregnancy mein thoda bohot theek hai. But jab pet nikalta hai na, tab toh khud hi uncomfortable lagega. Aur safe bhi nahi hai zyada. Toh side sleeping hi best hai. Doc bhi yahi bolte hain.

Beti, when the baby grows, sleeping on your stomach is not good for the child, and you will also not be comfortable. Try to sleep on your side, put a pillow between your knees for support. It helps. Listen to your body and your elders, and of course, your doctor.

Haan beti, when your stomach starts showing, then it is not good to sleep on your belly. It can put pressure on the child. Try to sleep on your side, slowly, slowly you will get used to it. The doctor also says the same thing.

This is one of those things where it's always better to be cautious. While very early on it might be okay, once you have even a small bump, it's generally not recommended. You really should ask your gynaecologist for specific advice based on your pregnancy stage. Don't risk it.
