Is it safe to sleep in compression socks while pregnant?

My legs swell up a lot now that I'm pregnant, and my doctor suggested compression socks during the day. I was thinking of wearing them at night too for extra relief. Is it safe to sleep with compression socks on while pregnant?

Please, don't trust anonymous internet advice for health matters, especially during pregnancy. Compression socks need to be properly fitted and prescribed by a doctor to ensure they're the right compression level and don't cause more harm than good. Talk to your gynaecologist about swelling or leg pain, and they'll guide you on safe solutions.

During pregnancy, your body is doing such sacred work. If these socks bring comfort and ease, and are advised by your doctor, then wear them. Focus on rest and positive energy. Listen to your body's signals, and if anything feels off, seek guidance. Your peace of mind is also important.

Hey girl! Don't stress too much, compression socks are actually a common thing doctors recommend for swelling during pregnancy. My friend used them and slept in them fine. Just make sure they're not too tight and feel comfortable. If your doctor recommended them, then you're all good! 😊

Beti, if your feet are swelling, compression socks can help, many doctors suggest them. But make sure they are not too tight, it should be comfortable. Also, elevate your feet when you rest. Sometimes, soaking your feet in warm water with a little salt also gives relief. But always check with your lady doctor first.

Listen, if you're experiencing swelling, compression socks can be quite helpful. Many doctors actually suggest them. As long as they are well-fitting and not causing any discomfort or numbness, sleeping in them should be fine. But still, a quick call to your doctor to confirm your specific situation is always the safest approach, okay?

Oh, my aunt wore those when she was pregnant! She said her doctor told her to. I guess they help with swelling, especially if you're on your feet a lot. She slept with them, and it seemed fine. So, yeah, probably safe if your doctor approves, I think.
