Is it ok to take a bath during pregnancy?

It's my fifth month of pregnancy and I'm really missing my relaxing hot baths. My aunt warned me against it, saying it's bad for the baby. Is it actually okay to take a bath during pregnancy, or should I just stick to showers?

Honestly, best to just ask your gynaecologist. With thyroid issues myself, I've learned that every pregnancy is different and what's okay for one person might not be for another. A quick call to your doctor will clear all doubts and keep you tension-free.

My athai used to say no hot water baths, only lukewarm. But when I was pregnant, my doctor said normal showers are absolutely fine, just avoid very hot water or soaking in a tub for too long. Always listen to your doctor first, they know best for you and baby.

Namaste. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, and staying calm is key. Generally, a normal shower is fine, just be mindful of slip hazards and temperature. Keep your thoughts positive and trust your body. Consult your doctor for specific advice.

Oh, this is something I've actually looked up for my sister! Most sources say regular showers are safe, but very hot baths or long soaks in a tub (especially late in pregnancy) might be a no-go because of infection risk or overheating. Better safe than sorry, so confirm with your doc!

Beta, haan, naha sakte ho. Bas paani bahut garam mat karna aur dhyan se nahaana taki phisal na jao. Humare gaon mein toh sab nahate hain. Lekin doctor se ek baar puchh loge toh aur achha lagega na, mann ko shanti milegi.
