Is it ok to sleep on your stomach during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and still find myself trying to sleep on my stomach sometimes out of habit. I know it's probably not good, but in early pregnancy, is it still a big concern? I just want to make sure I'm not harming the baby.

No, it's not advisable to sleep on your stomach during pregnancy, especially as your belly grows.

As a working professional, I need my sleep, especially during pregnancy. But stomach sleeping is a definite no, particularly after the first trimester. The pressure on the growing uterus is just too much. Invest in a good pregnancy pillow, it seriously helps with side sleeping and getting quality rest.

Na baba na! Pet ke bal toh bilkul nahi sona chahiye, haan. Doctor log bhi mana karte hain, khaaskar jab pet bada ho jaata hai. Baby ko discomfort ho sakta hai aur aapko bhi. Side mein sona better hai.

Oh, please be very careful about this. Sleeping on your stomach during pregnancy, especially after the first few months, can put pressure on the vena cava, which carries blood to your heart and baby. It's always best to follow your gynaecologist's strict advice and avoid it completely for the safety of your baby.

I'm not pregnant yet, but I sleep on my stomach usually. Is it really bad for the baby or just uncomfortable for the mom? What happens if you accidentally roll over?

Yaar, actually sleeping on your stomach during pregnancy, especially in later stages, is a big no-no. It's not just uncomfortable for the mom but can also restrict blood flow to the baby. So, you gotta switch to side sleeping. Pregnancy pillows are a lifesaver for this!

Bhai, jab pregnant ho toh pet ke bal sona toh bilkul galat hai. Isse bacche ko problem ho sakti hai. Doctor log bhi mana karte hain. Sidhe ya karwat leke hi sona chahiye. Apni sehat aur bacche ki safety sabse pehle.

My mother-in-law used to say not to sleep on the stomach even before I got pregnant, because of digestion. But during pregnancy, my doctor explicitly said no. He explained it affects blood flow and puts pressure on the baby. Always listen to your doctor, they have the best knowledge.

During this blessed journey of pregnancy, it is important to take utmost care of the body. Sleeping on the stomach can cause discomfort and is generally not recommended. Focus on peaceful side sleeping, perhaps with a soft pillow, to maintain harmony and well-being for both mother and child. Stay positive.

This is one of those things that really makes me anxious just thinking about it! With the baby growing, putting pressure on your stomach seems very risky. I would definitely not do it and stick to side sleeping. Better to be overly cautious than have any regrets, right?

It's completely normal to feel anxious about every little detail during pregnancy, especially sleep positions! But sleeping on your stomach, especially in the later months, isn't safe for the baby. It's tough to change habits, but you're doing it for a really good reason. You got this.

I was a stomach sleeper all my life, so when I got pregnant, this was a big worry. After the first trimester, it became impossible and uncomfortable anyway. My doctor confirmed it's not safe. I had to train myself to side sleep with tons of pillows. It's tough initially, but you adapt for the baby.

Beta, pregnant hote hi toh pet par sona bilkul chhod dena chahiye. Humare time mein toh sab bade mana karte the. Jaise-jaise pet badhta hai, uncomfortable bhi ho jaoge aur bacche ke liye bhi theek nahi. Side mein sona hi best hai, humne bhi wahi kiya tha.

I tried so many things to stay comfortable during pregnancy. Sleeping on the stomach is one thing you definitely cannot do after a certain point. It gets really hard. I used a body pillow, it was like a long sausage, to hug and keep me on my side. Very helpful, try it.

Hey, no, absolutely not advisable to sleep on your stomach when you're pregnant, especially past the first trimester. It just puts too much pressure on the baby and your blood vessels. You'll naturally find it super uncomfortable anyway as your belly grows. Try side sleeping with a pillow between your knees!
