Is it ok to bleed during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester, and I noticed some very light spotting today. My friend said it can be normal sometimes, but I'm worried. Is it okay to bleed during pregnancy?

Just like monitoring blood sugar, any bleeding during pregnancy needs immediate attention. Don't self-diagnose. You should definitely see a doctor right away to understand why it's happening, no matter how little it is.

Oh my God, when this happened to me, I completely panicked! I rushed to the doctor. Turns out, for me, it was just implantation bleeding which is normal for some. But seriously, please get it checked out by your Gynae ASAP. Don't wait.

Bleeding during pregnancy is definitely something to take seriously, it's not like a small cold where home remedies help. Even if it's light, you must see a doctor immediately. It's better to be safe and get it properly diagnosed by a medical professional.
