Is it normal to have stomach pain during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and sometimes get these mild cramps, almost like period pain. My mother-in-law says it's normal, but I'm a bit worried. Is some stomach pain common during early pregnancy, ya should I be concerned?

Mild stretching pain or bloating is completely normal as the womb grows, but we must watch out for warning signs. If you have any sharp cramps, fever, pain while passing urine, or spotting, please contact your doctor immediately as these need professional evaluation.

Actually, mild stomach pain is super common because your ligaments are stretching so much, yaar. I used to get this dull ache on my sides, which was just normal round ligament pain. Just don't lift heavy stuff and keep your doctor informed during your routine scans.

Yes, some light cramping or stomach discomfort is normal due to expanding muscles and gas, but any severe or constant pain should be checked by a doctor right away.

Honestly, between the baby kicking my ribs and the massive acidity bloating my stomach, my tummy was in constant pain. It's totally normal to feel that stretching discomfort, but please make sure it's not severe cramping. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to try and get 20 minutes of sleep!

My wife had so much stomach gas and stretching pain during her pregnancy that I practically became an expert in rubs and hot water bags. It's mostly normal abdominal stretching, but keep your doctor on speed dial just to save yourself from sleepless nights of worrying.
