Is ice cream good for weight gain?

I'm trying to gain some weight because I'm quite underweight. My friends keep telling me to eat more ice cream for quick calories. Is ice cream actually a good way to gain weight healthily?

Honestly bro, ice cream will just give you dirty weight from sugar and fats. If you want to bulk up properly, go for calorie-dense but clean foods like peanut butter, bananas, and oats. Pair that with a basic strength routine in the gym, otherwise you'll just gain belly fat instead of solid muscle.

If you are struggling to gain weight despite eating things like ice cream, please get your thyroid levels checked first. I was losing weight like crazy and eating random sweets, only to find out my thyroid was completely off. Better to consult a doc and get a simple blood test done to see what is actually happening inside.

Ice cream is very expensive if you eat it daily for weight gain, and it'll ruin your stomach also with all that cold dairy. Simple home food is much better and cheaper. Just add extra ghee to your dal-chawal and eat full cream milk with bananas daily, it works wonders without costing much.

I would be very careful with using ice cream for gaining weight, especially if you have hormonal issues like PCOS. The sudden spike in insulin from all that refined sugar can really mess up your periods and skin. Maybe try full-fat curd, nuts, or paneer instead, as they are much safer for our bodies.

Haha, eating ice cream to gain weight sounds like a dream deal, na? But seriously, don't stress too much about it, just enjoy a scoop sometimes. For actual healthy weight gain, just eat a bit more of your regular home food and add some mangoes or dry fruits. Chill, you will get there slowly!

Arre, at my age, even looking at an ice cream makes me gain two kilos! But honestly, eating it daily for weight gain is a shortcut to high cholesterol and diabetes. Stick to simple home-cooked rotis with fresh white butter if you want to put on some healthy flesh, otherwise you'll just end up visiting the doctor.

I totally feel you, being underweight can make you feel so insecure and desperate that you just want to eat anything to see the scale go up. I used to binge on ice cream and sweets too, but it only made me feel lethargic and bloated. Please don't rush it; your body deserves healthy fuel, even when you want to gain.

I am also trying to understand how to gain some weight because I have always been very thin. Ice cream sounds like an easy option, but is it really healthy for our heart? If anyone knows how much we can eat in a week without getting sick, please tell me.
