Is ibuprofen or aleve better for back pain?

I've been having terrible lower back pain recently. My colleague said to try Aleve, while my wife uses ibuprofen. Is ibuprofen or Aleve better for back pain?

For my back stiffness, regular gentle stretching and Bhujangasana have worked wonders over time. Aleve lasts longer, but these medicines only mask the pain temporarily. Try some warm sesame oil massage for lasting relief.

Don't just take these painkillers based on internet suggestions, they can mess up your stomach lining. Back pain can happen due to many reasons, from a muscle pull to a disc issue. Get a proper checkup from an orthopedic doctor first.

I get bad back aches during my periods, and my doctor suggested ibuprofen over naproxen for acute pain. However, I try to limit these because they can sometimes affect gut health. Do discuss with your doctor to find what fits your health profile.

Honestly, Aleve is naproxen and it lasts for like 12 hours, which is great if you have to go to office. Ibuprofen needs to be taken every 4-6 hours. Just use a local pain relief gel like Moov and do warm water fermentation, it saves you from eating pills.

I totally get it, back pain makes even sitting so difficult. Aleve is usually better for long-lasting relief because you don't have to take it repeatedly. Just please make sure you eat something before taking either of these, otherwise severe acidity can happen.

I have been having bad lower back pain because of long college hours. I haven't tried Aleve yet, is it easily available in local pharmacies? Please let me know if it has any side effects like dizziness.
