Is home pilates good for weight loss?

I want to lose some weight but don't have time for a gym, so I'm thinking of trying pilates at home. Will home pilates actually be good for weight loss, or is it not as effective as going to a class?

Home pilates can definitely help, especially for toning and core strength which indirectly aids weight loss. I lost 5 kgs combining it with a calorie-controlled diet. Consistency is key, and make sure your form is correct, maybe watch some good YouTube tutorials first!

Pilates sounds interesting! I'm trying to lose a little weight too. Is it something you can easily learn from home videos, or is it better to have an instructor? I'm a bit new to exercising.

Hmm, I've heard good things about pilates for flexibility and strength, but for actual weight loss, I always wonder if it's enough on its own? Like, do you need to do cardio too? I get so confused with all the different exercise types. Hope it works for you though!

Home pilates is great because it's free and you don't need fancy equipment, saving gym fees! For weight loss, it's a piece of the puzzle. Just remember, diet is equally, if not more, important. Think about meal planning to save money and eat healthier.

Beta, any movement is better than no movement. Pilates is good for the body, makes you stronger and more flexible. When you feel good, you naturally make better choices with food also. Don't rush it, just be consistent.

Absolutely! 🤩 Pilates is amazing for strengthening your core and improving posture, which makes you feel leaner even before the scale moves much. Combine it with some cardio and a balanced diet, and you'll see great results! Keep going! ✨

Any exercise is good, but for weight loss, it's also about your diet and overall health. Don't just rely on exercise if you have underlying issues. Please get a general checkup to rule out anything that might be hindering your progress.
