Is high intensity interval training good for weight loss?

My friend told me about HIIT workouts, saying they're really effective for shedding kgs. I'm trying to lose some weight that I gained after my wedding. Can someone tell me if high intensity interval training actually helps with weight loss?

Haan, HIIT is very effective for weight loss, no doubt. Short, intense bursts burn a lot of calories in less time. But don't just jump into it blindly. Start slow, get your form right, and listen to your body. Otherwise, injury ho sakti hai. Consistency is key, bhai.

OMG yes, HIIT is like super popular for a reason! My friends swear by it, they say you burn more calories even after you stop working out. Plus it's quick, so good for busy schedules. Just make sure you warm up properly, don't wanna pull a muscle!

For me, with PCOS, exercise is crucial for weight management. HIIT can be effective, but I've learned to listen to my body very carefully to avoid overexertion, which can sometimes worsen hormonal imbalances. Start with modifications and ensure you're not pushing too hard too soon. It's about consistency, not just intensity.

From a practical standpoint, HIIT can be very cost-effective because you don't need a fancy gym or equipment. It's great for weight loss if done right. But if you have any existing health issues, it's smart to get a basic health check-up first, because doctor visits or tests later can be expensive.

I used to panic thinking I needed hours in the gym to lose weight, but then I started doing HIIT. It's intense, yes, but it's short, and I saw results faster than with just long cardio. Just remember to start slow, your body will adapt. Don't feel discouraged if it's hard initially.

Absolutely, HIIT is fantastic for accelerating weight loss and improving cardiovascular health. It's efficient because of the 'afterburn effect.' Just ensure you're fit enough to start, and always include dynamic warm-ups and cool-downs. Even short bursts of intense activity like sprinting or burpees can make a huge difference.

Oh, definitely! I recently incorporated HIIT into my routine, and it really helped me break through a weight loss plateau. The key is to truly push during the high-intensity parts and then recover. It's tough, but the results are visible. My energy levels also went up a lot.

Haan na, HIIT is very good for weight loss. It's effective for burning calories and boosting metabolism. Just make sure you learn proper techniques from a trainer first, because wrong form can cause injuries. Ho na, take it slow and steady.

I'm thinking of trying HIIT, but I'm worried it might be too hard for me. Has anyone else felt really out of breath or sore after starting? How long does it take to get used to it?
