Is heat or cold better for tooth pain?

My wisdom tooth is bothering me a lot, and it's causing a constant dull ache. Should I be putting something warm or cold on my cheek to help with the pain? What works best for tooth pain?

Tooth pain can be very distressing and test your patience. A cold compress on the outside of your cheek can gently soothe the throbbing and bring some quiet relief. Keep your mind calm and try to visit a dentist as soon as possible.

I agree with using cold packs. Applying ice wrapped in a towel to your cheek for 15 minutes is the safest way to reduce dental pain temporarily before seeing a doc.

I had a massive toothache last month and made the mistake of putting a warm patch on my face. It actually made the swelling worse because of the heat. Use ice instead, it numbs the pain instantly until you can get to a dentist.

For toothaches, cold therapy is definitely better. Heat can accelerate blood flow and worsen any underlying bacterial infection or swelling. Apply an ice pack on the cheek for 10-15 minutes at a time, and avoid biting on that side.

Tooth pain is the worst, yaar. Actually, never use heat on your cheek if it is swelling because that makes it flare up like crazy. Just stick an ice gel pack on it and book a dentist appointment immediately.

Daant ke dard mein thandi cheez lagana behtar hota hai. Aap kapde mein baraf lapet kar gaal par thodi der rakhein, isse dard mein bohot aaram milega. Lekin jaldi hi kisi achhe doctor ko zaroor dikha lein.
