Is heartburn a first sign of pregnancy?

I've been feeling some heartburn recently, and I'm also trying to conceive. Could heartburn actually be one of the first signs of pregnancy?

While acidity can happen due to many food habits, hormonal changes in early pregnancy can sometimes cause heartburn. It is always best to manage your food intake carefully and do a simple home test to be sure.

It can be an early sign due to pregnancy hormones slowing down digestion. However, don't rely on symptoms alone. Save time and just do a urine pregnancy test or consult your gynecologist.

Heartburn can be a symptom because progesterone relaxes the stomach valves, but it's not the primary sign. Just take a home pregnancy test if your period is late. It's the most direct way to know.

When my sister had severe acidity early on, the gynecologist at Apollo hospital explained that pregnancy hormones often cause heartburn. It's always best to ask your doctor clearly and get a blood test done to confirm.

I was reading about early symptoms, and actually, heartburn is quite common due to hormonal changes. But since it can also just be standard indigestion, a pregnancy test is the best way to confirm.

Yes, it can be! Early hormones do crazy things to your stomach. If your period is delayed, just do a quick home test to be sure. Good luck!
