Is hair loss a side effect of zepbound?

My friend just started Zepbound for his weight and is now very concerned because he's experiencing a lot of hair fall. He asked me if this is normal. Is hair loss a side effect of Zepbound?

Beti, medicines can sometimes have these effects, haan. My dadi used to say, natural remedies like a good oil massage with coconut or almond oil, thoda warm, can help strengthen the roots. But do check with your doctor too, they know best about the medicine.

Oh, I totally get why you'd be worried about hair loss. It's so distressing! Sometimes changes in weight or diet, which can happen with these meds, also trigger hair fall. Maybe talk to your doctor about your concerns; they might be able to suggest something or adjust your dosage if needed.

My daughter had a phase of hair fall, not due to medicine but some stress. We made sure she was eating balanced meals and taking some multi-vitamins her doctor suggested. For Zepbound, please consult your prescribing doctor. They can confirm if it's a known side effect and what to do.

As someone who manages diabetes, I know how important it is to keep track of any new symptoms when you start a new medication. Hair loss can be a sign of many things, sometimes even nutrient deficiencies. It's always best to consult your doctor or an endocrinologist; they can tell you if it's related to the Zepbound or something else.

Hmm, I usually check drug interaction apps for side effects. For Zepbound, I've heard some people mention hair thinning but it's not super common. Definitely log this in your health tracker and talk to your doc about it. They might suggest a blood test to check for any deficiencies.
