Is green rubbing alcohol good for arthritis?

My joints have been really bothering me due to arthritis, especially in this cold weather. My neighbour suggested applying green rubbing alcohol. Is green rubbing alcohol actually good for arthritis pain relief?

It can give a temporary cooling sensation because of the added wintergreen or menthol, but it won't treat the actual arthritis joint inflammation.

It may help soothe the area for a little while because of the cooling effect, but please be gentle on your skin as rubbing alcohol can dry it out. I hope you find some relief from the pain soon.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding fancy remedies. Green rubbing alcohol (the one with wintergreen) just cools the skin and distracts from the pain temporarily, but it doesn't cure arthritis. A proper orthopedic doctor can give you better pain relief options!

Haan na, joints mein jab dard hota hai toh hum kuch bhi try karne ko taiyar ho jate hain. Green rubbing alcohol se thoda thanda lagta hai and momentary relief milta hai, but skin bahut dry ho sakti hai. Doctor se proper ointment likhwa lo, woh jyada acha rahega.

I track my recovery stats on my fitness app and honestly, local skin rubs only offer a temporary distraction. Green rubbing alcohol contains methyl salicylate which gives a cooling feel, but it won't help long-term joint health. Focus on gentle mobility exercises and consult your doc.
