Is green poop sign of pregnancy?

I've been feeling a bit off lately, and just noticed my poop is a strange green color. My period is also late. Is green poop a sign of pregnancy, or should I be worried about something else?

Oh god, I remember when this happened to me, I panicked and Googled for hours! It can actually happen during pregnancy because of prenatal vitamins (especially iron) or if food is passing too fast through your system. Take a deep breath, it is usually harmless, but take a pregnancy test to be sure.

Hey, don't stress too much! Green stool isn't a direct sign of pregnancy itself, but it often happens if you are taking iron supplements or just ate lots of green veggies. If you suspect you're pregnant, just do a quick home urine test, it's the easiest way to know!

In our family, elders say changes in digestion are common when there is a change in diet, but green color specifically is often due to iron tablets or green leafy vegetables. Please do not worry, but consult your gynecologist to get a clear answer and a proper checkup.

I have seen this question pop up quite often. Green stool is not a standard pregnancy symptom, though pregnant women often get it due to their prenatal iron supplements or digestive changes. If you are experiencing other signs like missed periods or nausea, a home test is your best first step.

I completely understand how scary it is when you notice something unusual like this, your mind immediately goes to the worst options. Green stool is very common and usually just dietary or due to vitamin pills. Try to relax and get a doctor's opinion to ease your mind.

Whenever my diet changes significantly—like eating more green leafy vegetables to manage my blood sugar—my stool color changes too. It is generally related to what you eat or iron supplements rather than pregnancy. Always monitor your health indicators carefully.

My sister went through this recently and she was super freaked out too. Turns out it was just her new iron multivitamins. Green poop itself isn't a pregnancy test, so go buy a regular pregnancy kit from the chemist to be absolutely sure.

I totally get it, seeing green stool can be so unsettling and makes you wonder what is going on with your body. It is usually just from green leafy veggies, food coloring, or iron pills. Don't worry too much, but definitely take a test if you missed your cycle.

Did you eat palak paneer or green salad yesterday? Because that is a 99% more likely reason than pregnancy! Unless you have missed your period, don't blame a baby for what your dinner did. Get a simple UPT test done to clear your doubts!

As someone who deals with medicines daily, I can tell you that high-dose iron supplements are the number one cause of green or very dark stools. It is not a direct diagnostic sign of pregnancy. Take a home test if your period is late, and speak to your doctor if you have severe abdominal pain.
