Is fruit bad for weight loss?

I'm trying really hard to lose weight, and I've heard mixed things about fruit. Some people say it's too sugary. Is fruit bad for weight loss, or can I incorporate it into my diet?

It's so easy to get confused and anxious about what to eat for weight loss, I totally get it. But no, fruit isn't inherently bad! It's full of vitamins and fiber. The issue comes if you overdo it with very sugary fruits, or replace meals with only fruit, which won't give you enough protein. Don't stress, just eat in moderation.

Nah, dude, fruit's not bad for weight loss. It's got fiber so it fills you up, and way better than chips or chocolate for snacking. Just don't go crazy eating like, ten mangoes a day, 'cause even good stuff has calories, you know? Like, one apple or banana is chill.

I've been looking this up too! From what I understand, fruit has natural sugars, so it's not zero calories, but it's also packed with fiber and nutrients. So it's generally good for weight loss compared to processed snacks. The key is probably portion control and choosing whole fruits over juices.

While fruit is healthy, if you're seriously trying to lose weight or have underlying conditions like diabetes, it's important to understand how much fruit, and which types, are best for you. Some fruits are higher in sugar. Please consult a doctor or a dietician for proper guidance, don't just rely on general advice.

Is fruit bad? My brain says 'no, it's nature's candy!', but my waistline sometimes whispers 'all that sugar, Meena!'. Honestly, it's not bad, it's just that people tend to overeat it thinking it's calorie-free. One apple? Great. Five mangoes? Maybe not a weight-loss strategy, unless you want to lose money buying them! 😂

I can only share what works for me. When I'm trying to lose weight, I include fruits like apples, oranges, and berries. I don't avoid them because they make me feel full and give me energy. I just watch my portions, especially for very sweet fruits. That's my experience, you know.

Fruit is essential for a balanced diet and has fiber which helps you feel full, so it's good for weight loss. Just remember, calories still count. Pair your fruit intake with some good exercise like a brisk walk or jogging, and you'll see better results. Avoid fruit juices; stick to whole fruits.
